i was supposed to hang out with at least one of the girls from my church youth group but she wasn't able to make it, so it was just me and the one leader lady. she picked me up from my house and as she did so, a really cool fighter jet flew over us !! i tried checking out my flight radar app but it didn't show up. we ended up going to get boba. i hadn't had it since i was eleven. i didn't like it then but i was willing to try it again. she parked next to a mazda rx-7 which was cool. you don't see those a lot.
inside the boba place the atmosphere was a bit overwhelming. it smelled very strongly of something (coffee maybe ?) and the music they were playing was SO loud. nonetheless i pushed through. we ordered from this kiosk thing. she got tea of some sort and i got chocolate boba. she also got us some curly fries bc this was the only food they had there. i thought it was a little strange cause i thought that didn't really go with boba. i was expecting them to have sweet treats or something. they have books and board games there. idk how anyone could focus on that in such an overwhelming place but whatever. we played bananagrams as we waited. then our stuff was ready. i didn't like my boba. maybe i would've liked it more if i chose their sweeter option (they have varying levels of sweetness you can choose. the highest is 150% and the default is 100%). the curly fries were good but maybe i was just really hungry. we played sorry but it was really busted up and most of the pawns were missing. this always happens to public board games it seems. sad! after this we went to the mall and walked around. didn't have any money to buy anything tho. then she took me back home. my cousin came over and we played roblox together. it was a good day !! |
